THE GOLDEN CROWN PAGEANT AWARDS CEREMONY

Here are the categories in which you may nominate your organization. All pageants and all European pageant systems are included in the Pageant Awards.

PLEASE NOTE: There must be at least 5 nominations in any given category in order for that category to be recognized during the ceremony. If there are not at least 5 nominations in a category, that category will not be voted on and will not be included during the ceremony.

• TITLEHOLDERS OF THE YEAR – Miss  A titleholder (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• TITLEHOLDERS OF THE YEAR – Mister A titleholder (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• TITLEHOLDERS OF THE YEAR – Mrs/Ms A titleholder (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• TITLEHOLDERS OF THE YEAR – Teen A titleholder (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• RUNNER-UP OF THE YEAR – Miss A Runner-up (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• RUNNER-UP OF THE YEAR – Mister A Runner-up (local, state, regional, national, or European) who is a current titleholder who upholds the highest standard and ethical and moral values of their title and will have the greatest positive impact out of all titleholders, all systems, in Europe.
• BEST DIRECTOR | ORGANIZATION – Under 20 Contestants (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): An individual or organization whose final has no more than 20 candidates may be submitted.
• BEST DIRECTOR | ORGANIZATION –20+ Contestants (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): An individual or organization whose final has more than 20 candidates may be submitted.
• BEST NEWBIE BEST DIRECTOR | ORGANIZATION (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): An individual who is currently the pageant director or a pageant organization (who has 3 years of existence or less) may be submitted.
• BEST CULTURAL PAGEANT – Miss (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): A pageant who brings ethnic diversity or cultural perspective in pageantry.
• BEST CULTURAL PAGEANT – Mister (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): A pageant who brings ethnic diversity or cultural perspective in pageantry.
• BEST LGBT PAGEANT (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): A pageant who defends the LGBT values in pageantry.
• BEST EXTRAVAGANZA | ORIGINAL PAGEANT (may be local, state, regional, national, or European): A pageant who is very different from others by its creative proposal, by the values defended…
• BEST SCENOGRAPHY | PRODUCTION
• BEST CHOREGRAPHER | ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Must be a current, on-going chorergrapher, artistic director
• BEST COACH Must be a current, on-going coach(es) for interview, talent, fitness/nutrition, style, the walk.)
• BEST DESIGNER (WARDROBE, EVENING GOWN, COSTUME) An individual who currently does an incredible job of design for evening gown or costume
• BEST STYLIST (HAIR | MAKEUP) An individual who currently does an incredible job of styling clients be it for hair, and/or makeup.
• BEST PHOTOGRAPHER | SHOOTING
• BEST NATIONAL | REGIONAL COSTUME An individual who currently does an incredible job of design for national or regional costume
• BEST SOCIAL IMPACT Titleholder (local, state, regional, national, or European) who serves her/his community as a volunteer, promotes her/his title/system, posts positive messages, uplifts the self-esteem of others, is an inspiring role model to other young girls/boys, or brings honor to her/his family and the pageant industry through service.
• LEGACY AWARD An individual who has left a lasting legacy through positive change, leadership, new ideas and over 10 years involvement in the pageant community.
• LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Someone who has added tremendous value to pageantry in Europe. This individual must also be or as been instrumental in pageantry and giving back to the pageant world.
• ENCOURAGING AWARD Federation Award
• CONGENIALITY A member of the pageant community who supports other contestants to go after his/her dreams. Must be a contestant. Does not necessarily mean he/she won the Miss Congeniality Award.
• POSITIVITY & BEAUTIFUL The body positivity movement aims to change societal and individual perceptions of weight, size and appearance to be more accepting of all bodies, regardless of their diverse characteristics. The “Positive & Beautiful” Award goes to a contestant in any age division and any pageant system, who represents a body type not typically celebrated. This person embodies body positivity, embraces what makes their body beautiful and encourages others to do the same.
